Visit by Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat

On 3 January 2020, Tian Fu Gong Bai Long Wang (Tao One Ltd) was honoured to receive Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat, accompanied by Senior Minister of State Dr Maliki Osman.

The visit was held in appreciation of the volunteers, partners, and supporters who contributed to the success of Peace and Prosperity Singapura 2019, an initiative celebrating inter-cultural harmony and shared community values.

During the visit, DPM Heng and Dr Maliki engaged warmly with our volunteers and leadership team, listening to their experiences in nurturing community bonds through culture, service, and spiritual practice. Both leaders also took the opportunity to learn more about Taoist traditions across various Chinese dialect groups, and the evolving role of temples as places for cultural education, social cohesion, and collective reflection.

Their presence signifies meaningful recognition of the role that faith, heritage, and community partnerships play in strengthening Singapore’s social fabric.We are deeply humbled and encouraged to continue our mission — to preserve tradition, serve the community sincerely, and promote harmony among all.
