希望的种子终开花结果——贺东马岸中华华小新礼堂落成启用 A Seed of Hope Comes to Life: Celebrating the New Hall of SJK(C) Chung Hwa Temangan

两年前的一个深夜，我们来到吉兰丹东马岸中华华小（SJK(C) Chung Hwa Temangan）探访。一次简单的交流，却种下了一颗希望的种子。

当时，学校长期缺乏一座完善的礼堂。对于这所位于乡区的小学而言，无论是学生活动、学校集会，还是社区聚会，都受到场地不足的限制。加上当地过去经常面对水灾问题，更凸显出建设一个安全、宽敞且多功能集会空间的重要性。

那一夜，我们深深感受到学校与社区的需要，也因此决定给予支持与捐助，希望能够为这项有意义的建设尽一份绵力。

时光飞逝，转眼两年过去。今天，当我们见证这座礼堂正式落成启用时，心中充满感动与欣慰。在校长坚持不懈的努力下，在教师团队、热心人士、社会贤达以及当地居民的共同支持下，学校成功筹募约七十万令吉（RM700,000），完成整个礼堂建设工程。对于一所乡区华小而言，这是一项非常了不起的成就，更展现了社区团结一致、众志成城的力量。

我们特别向校长致以崇高敬意。正是因为他的远见、毅力与无私奉献，带领大家一步一脚印地实现这个梦想。同时，我们也感谢所有捐助者和支持者，因为每一份力量都成为礼堂建设不可或缺的一部分。

这座礼堂不仅仅是一栋建筑物，更是一份留给未来的礼物。它将成为学生学习、活动与成长的重要空间；也将成为社区举办节庆活动、文化交流、居民聚会及公共活动的重要场所。在未来的岁月里，它将继续凝聚人心，促进社区和谐与发展。

今天，我们有幸来到学校为礼堂进行祝福仪式，也见证了一颗两年前播下的希望种子终于开花结果。衷心祝愿东马岸中华华小新礼堂能够长久造福学校与社区，培育更多优秀学子，凝聚更多温暖与力量。愿这座礼堂成为东马岸的地标之一，继续见证一代又一代人的成长、团结与希望。

Two years ago, during a late-night visit to SJK(C) Chung Hwa Temangan in rural Kelantan, a simple conversation sparked an idea that would eventually grow into something remarkable.

At that time, the school faced a longstanding challenge — the absence of a proper hall for its students and the wider community. In an area where flooding has been a recurring concern, there was a clear need for a safe and sheltered gathering space that could serve both educational and community purposes.

Moved by the needs of the school and inspired by the determination of its educators, we planted a seed of hope that night. We pledged our support and subsequently contributed towards the vision of building a hall that could benefit generations to come.

Today, we are deeply honoured to witness the completion of this dream. Through the tireless efforts of the school principal, the dedication of teachers, the generosity of donors, and the unwavering support of the local community, approximately RM700,000 was successfully raised to fund the entire construction project. For a small rural school, this is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to what can be accomplished when people unite behind a common purpose.

We would like to pay special tribute to the principal of SJK(C) Chung Hwa Temangan, whose perseverance, leadership and commitment never wavered throughout this journey. Together with the community, he transformed a vision into reality.

This hall is more than a building. It is a symbol of resilience, hope and community spirit. It will provide students with a proper venue for learning, activities and development. It will also serve as a gathering place for residents, cultural events, festive celebrations and community programmes, strengthening the bonds that connect the people of Temangan.

Today, we had the privilege of visiting the school to offer our blessings for this new landmark. As we stood within the hall, we were reminded that meaningful change often begins with a simple idea, nurtured by faith, determination and collective effort.

May this hall continue to serve the students and people of Temangan for many generations to come. May it always be filled with laughter, learning, unity and hope.
