Tao One Attends S3 Stroke Support Station’s 10th Anniversary Celebration

ree

Singapore, 24 October 2025 — Tao One was honoured to attend the 10th Anniversary Dinner of S3 Stroke Support Station (S3), marking a decade of dedicated service to stroke survivors and their caregivers.

The celebration was graced by Guest of Honour, Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office and Chairman of Temasek Holdings. S3 was founded by his late wife, Mrs. Teo Chew Poh Yim, whose compassion and vision laid the foundation for an organisation that continues to uplift lives and foster community resilience.

Under the capable leadership of Chairman Ms. Chang Hwee Nee, S3 has grown from strength to strength and is now expanding its outreach with more centres across Singapore to serve an increasing number of stroke survivors and families.

A moving highlight of the evening came from Mr. Heng Swee Keat, former Deputy Prime Minister and husband of Ms. Chang, who delivered a heartfelt tribute to his wife. He shared how, during his recovery from a stroke, doctors had cautioned her about the wide range of possible outcomes when he awoke from his coma. Through her care, patience, and unwavering support, he made a full recovery — a testament to the very spirit of compassion and resilience that S3 embodies.

Tao One is deeply humbled to have pledged a five-year donation commitment to S3 during our 2023 dinner. We hope this small token can help sustain S3’s meaningful work in empowering survivors, supporting caregivers, and nurturing a more caring and inclusive community for all.
