In 2025, Tao One will joyfully celebrate its 10th anniversary, marking a decade filled with goodness and community spirit. To honor this remarkable milestone, we are excited to announce the launch of the second edition of the "Peace and Prosperity Singapura" (PPSG) SG60 Walkathon. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2019, this year's walkathon promises to be an extraordinary celebration of racial and religious harmony in Singapore.
The Significance of the 2019 Event
The original "Peace and Prosperity Singapura 2019" event commemorated Singapore's Bicentennial. It was a wonderful platform celebrating our multicultural society, bringing together diverse racial and religious groups. Over 2,500 participants engaged in various activities that emphasized connection and understanding. The heartfelt stories and lasting memories from this event continue to resonate within the community, showcasing our unity despite our differences.

What to Expect at the 2025 Walkathon
Join us on 1 June 2025, as we take to the streets of Singapore for the PPSG SG60 Walkathon. The event will kick off from Impact @ Hong Lim at 5 PM, led by our esteemed Guest-of-Honour, Mdm Halimah Yacob, the 8th President of the Republic of Singapore.
The 5 km walkathon targets over 1,000 participants from various racial and community groups. The route will pass through notable landmarks, including Chinatown, the CBD, Esplanade, Singapore River, Merlion Park, and Gardens by the Bay, culminating at the scenic Marina Barrage. This chosen path beautifully illustrates Singapore’s evolution from a humble trading port to a dynamic global city, making it a visual journey of our nation’s growth.
A Spectacle of Culture and Unity
As participants complete the walk, they will enjoy performances featuring traditional Malay Kompang and Indian Drums. In addition, an impressive display of 60 Big Flags will symbolize 60 years of Singapore’s independence. Each flag will represent 60 individual Chinese phrases of well wishes, generously supported by various corporates and individuals who share our vision of unity.
This year’s event is proudly co-organized by esteemed partners, including the Singapore Wushu and Dragon Lion Dance Federation and Jack Neo’s Papazao, enriching the cultural representation.
